random stuff [10 Dec 2009|01:24pm] adamcorolla [ mood | awake ] So yesterday I had a severe allergic reaction to some antibiotics. It was bad. I had red dots ALL over my body, and a fever to go along with it. Fail. I had to cancel my 2 appts so that sucks, but its a set number of visits in each contract, so I didn't necessarily lose any money, just for this month. I have been keeping pretty busy I guess, since Frank has been gone: (also since my job starts when kids get OUT of school, I can get up super late). Wake up around 1030-1230 Do chores/house work if I have time. Run or go to the gym 1230-2 Tutor 3-8 aaaaand I still work at the skatepark Fri, Sat, Sun. It is my vacation time, that I get paid for also. Word. Frank and I (even though he hasn't been here for more than a few weeks at a time) live in a house in Audubon Park. It is next to Baldwin Park and Winter Park. It is cute, and close to downtown. I love it. I bought a new car. VW Jetta TDI. It gets over 600miles for one tank for 14 gallons of diesel. YES PLEASE. It is awesome. Black, cream colored leather interior, automatic, (thank god-my left knee was killing me from the manual Audi), only 22k miles on it, mint condition. :) I had a dream last night I was in the army, geez I wonder why..ha. And it was fun, probably just from the constant attention from every guy. Slim pickin's over in Iraq. I have been talking to Matt Hertzman's brother online, he is in Iraq, which I think is cool. He is pretty goofy and funny. He has tons of girl problems, even though he won't admit it. Stop fixating on girls and creating relationships with them and focus on being yourself (like you are with me) and you wont attract all the clingy trainwrecks with idealistic hopes and dreams. Don't be mad at me :p Just take it in..We def need to go out while in West Florida though, I can help you find a good one. haha. So over Thanksgiving at the condo in Sarasota (which was a good time), I asked my gma if she would pay for grad school. Answer we yes. Oh Orgasm All Ye Faithful [02 Dec 2009|09:18pm] punkreaper [ mood | calm ] [ music | Grey-The 69 Eyes ] i'm not sure the last time i wrote in this. thanksgiving was fun. went to SRQ. ran the 5k the morning of. then went back to sleep until 5 pm. lollies. then ate dinner at Perkins with the family since mom didn't feel like cooking. friday was cool. went to the mall and bought xmas presents for people and some satanic metal cds. gotta love that satany goodness. FYE in sarasota is fucking boss. they had an entire section of USED metal albums. lots of good old school stuff. i also purchased some black metal history. back in '83, there was a Swedish band called Hellhammer that released 3 demos and then pretty much disappeared. however, those three albums were pretty influential on the whole black metal movement. any-fucking-whoo all 3 demos were remasted from the original tapes and re-released. even remastered, they sound like shit. which is good! i just wish i could have been a teen in the late 80's in the scandanavian countries so i could make some killer heavy metal. friday night was a shitfester as CBs. bought a handle of Seagrams Sweet Tea vodka (soooo good) and a beer pong set from Sports Auth. skodde and I ended up getting shithammered and kicked out of the house at 2:45 am. We didn't get home until 6:15 am. what happened in the interim? we were both so sloshed that we couldn't drive. so we passed out in my car in the cold for like 3+ hours. high five rulilng at life. saturday was cool. ended up renting marvel ultimate alliance and raged that at big mikes. pretty good game. i can c y they mayde a see quell. sunday was cool. did some neuroevolution stuff. drove back to the homestead and did adult things (bills, schedule, etc.). the fun part was stelly was expecting me much later. As she was dining at a local eatery, i just creeped in and sat down. it was kinda epic. not as epic as macaroni grill, but epic to say fewer words than the sentence requires. in other epic news, my NE project is basically done. we have trained a network to classify a heart arrhythmia as healthy or not to within 95% accuracy. the reader should note that our training data only consisted of one type of arrhythmia. There are plenty of reasons why a heart can fail. I'm juiced merely because now I can check this class of my list. Kaput. Write up the report. Put it in the hoop like wow. Although this certainly will not be the last you hear of such research :) CV is another story. I've chosen a paper on camera calibration. Determining intrinsic values for a pinhole camera model using only photographs taken from the camera. fun shit. the paper is not too bad. implementing it going to be a whole new ballgame. speaking of ball games, hockey. and thusly, ladies and gentle man. i've lost my mind and i'm watching the 3rd season (of my memory) trying to catch up. have you ever tried to catch down? 1 Things Collide Love Me Two Times .
